Grants
NIA/NM currently enjoys a major grant from the New Mexico Crime Victims Reparation Commission. We have been the beneficiary of a smaller grant from the McCune Foundation aimed at improving our presence statewide and assuring fiscal accountability as a 501 (C)(3) organization. We will pursue other grants to support expanding victim services. Grants often require a substantial level of matching support from public sources — both cash and in-kind services.
Paid Services
NIA/NM is also a licensed non-profit investigations agency operating in New Mexico since 1985. These services produce revenue that supplements grants and public donations, both cash and in-kind donations. Our purpose is to provide professional investigation and legally gathered information services at an affordable cost. Our primary service is background check investigations for nonprofit agencies.
